Tom was always very kind to me! I had a lot of fun with him and Sharon when they came to get their hair done. I am so sorry!! Hugs to the whole family!!
Sharon, We are so sorry for your loss. Karen and I enjoyed working with — and just knowing Tom. We admired his energy, his magnetic personality, his charisma, and his wry sense of humor. His gardens were amazing, and getting invited over to taste his soup was a privilege. On the job, Tom was a master at connecting with people, incentivizing groups while making sure to reward individuals. He was a pleasure to work with — and without a doubt, he was the best boss I ever had. I’ll never forget the time he called me over to his office and, with a big smile on his face, pointed out a Magnolia Warbler just outside the window. Tom loved life, and we will never forget him.
