Stephen “Steve” Szymski, 63, of Westmont, passed away suddenly on August 17, 2023. Beloved son of the late Stephen and Anne (nee Wisniewski); loving brother of Gerald (Jinny) and Gregory (Betsy) Szymski; devoted uncle of Rhett, Ashley and Emily Szymski, Gretchen (Daniel) Alton and Amanda (fiance Brandon Holl) Szymski; dearest great uncle of Larkin and Witten. Steve was an animal lover, especially his Jack Russell “Becky”. He was a taxidermist and enjoyed fishing. Interment will take place privately at Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
