Patricia “Pat” Johnson (nee Gong), 63, of Westmont, at rest November 14, 2022. Born May 25, 1959 in China to the late Samuel and Ping Gong. Beloved wife of Don Johnson Sr.; loving mother of Fernando (Nene) Cortez, Don (Stephanie) Johnson Jr., Lily Johnson and her beloved dog Cosmo; devoted grandmother of Addison and Samuel Johnson, Zolia and Zelda Jirka and her grand dogs Chole, Duke and Daphne; dearest sister of Bill (Mindy), John (Shirley), Raymond (Qixuan) and Ken Gong and Terri (Mike) Carmona; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Pat was a small business owner and ran Elmhurst Choysuey for many years. She volunteered at the Democratic National Party and was an avid reader. Most of all she loved her grandchildren and her grand dogs. Pat was a wonderful sister, wife, mom and grandma. She was the eldest sibling so she helped to raise all of us while our parents were busy running the restaurant. She was fun, gentle, kind and patient. I will miss you, Sis. I wish you had a chance to travel and visit those wonder places you read about in your books. Rest In Peace.
