It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jimmy Lee McCrory, who was called home peacefully on June 21, 2026, at the age of 74. Jim was born on August 8, 1951, in Montgomery, Alabama to Robert and Dora Mae McCrory. Beloved husband of Cathy (nee Braatz); loving father of Wendy (Dustin) Conlon, Vicky Chibucos, Jim (June) McCrory, and Rebecca (Don) Froman; devoted PaPa of Jake, Jamie (fiancé Anthony), Brock, Jimmy, Jack, Dakota, Madison and Dallas; dear brother of Patricia (Richard) Lucier and Ralph (Dorothy) McCrory; dear brother-in-law of Lana and Debbie McCrory; fond uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews. Jim was proceeded in death by his brothers Robert, Ronald, Steven sister Juanita and nephews Ronnie J and Robbie.
Jim was a loving husband to Cathy for 55 blessed years, a cherished father to Wendy, Jim, Vicky and Becky, a loving PaPa to Jake, Jamie, Brock, Jimmy, Jack, Dakota, Madison, and Dallas. Jim’s life was full of love and faith for his family and Heavenly Father.
Memorial visitation Friday, June 26, 2026 from 3-8pm at Cappetta’s West Suburban Funeral Home 39 N Cass Ave, Westmont.
