Rest in Peace my Silver Fox.
I have so much love in my heart for Aunt Hilma. After my mom passed, she was always there for my family. Birthdays, communions, confirmations, graduations, births of babies, weddings, and many parties. We felt so loved by her. She always said give the gift of your presence when someone invites you. She always cared about everyone else. It was always how are you doing?
Even when she was 98 years old, I was still getting a birthday card. At her 95th birthday, someone asked her what her best advice was. She said, just smile. I was grateful to spend more time with her the past couple of years with my sister Eileen, playing cards, having a cup of tea, and talking about family. Aunt Hilma was not only my aunt, but she was my friend. She will forever be in my heart.
My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. It was your love and caring that got her to 99. Love, Terri and Paul
