Frank Haworth Lester Jr., 82, of Elmhurst, IL, former longtime resident of Woodridge, IL, at rest December 8, 2022. Frank Proudly served his country in the United States Marines Corps. and was equally proud of retiring from the Electro-Motive Division (EMD) of General Motives after 30  years. He enjoyed do-it-yourself projects on his house or with friends. Frank cherished enjoying good times with his friends and family and was known for entertaining them at his many back yard pool parties. He was quick to make you laugh with a joke  and never lost his desire to socialize and make friends. He could frequently be seen moving about town on his red scooter. Frank loved his many dogs over the years. He was particularly fond of yellow labs. Cody, Willie and Toby will be with him forever. Frank was born July 15, 1940 to Frank Sr. and Mildred Lester. Beloved husband of the late Amy (nee Groh); loving father of Michael (partner Tara Gehring) and the late Christopher and Michele Lester; devoted grandfather of John Konwinski; dear brother of Marlene Otto and the late Audrey Uttenwieler.; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a future date.
