Scott Wilkins

May 13, 2026

Heaven has a new angel as of Friday April 24, 2026. Scott Wilkins lost his life suddenly. He was a son, a brother, an uncle, a Butler, a boyfriend and service vet. Scott served our country proud for 8 years. He was in during a Gulf war and then state side for the end of his tour of duty. If you knew my brother you knew that he was a lover of sports especially the Minnesota teams, the Vikings and the twins. He loved fantasy football and fantasy baseball. He loved looking for the rare coins and would tell his dad all about when he did find a good one. He loved dungeons and dragons and would call his nephew every Wednesday to talk about the game. Scott loved to tell stories and would talk for hours if you would let him. When he was younger, he loved to fish with is Grandpa Wilkins. He even got to go to the family fishing spot in upper Michigan called crooked lake. Boy the stories he would talk about our grandpa of how he was a bad fisherman… Never looking where it would though his line. Or how the big one got away. These are just a few things that I wanted to say about my brother…..love you more than words can say. And I know that he would say ” thank you”.

Scott is survived by his father Thomas; two sisters, Lisa Wilkins and Traci (Brent) DeWitt and two nephews, Chase and Grayson DeWitt. He is preceded in death by his mother Sally Jean Wilkins.
