Dawn Ann Riley (Christ), 68, of Westmont, passed away peacefully on the morning of April 16, 2026. Dawn was born on November 25, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois, to George and Mercedes Christ. She was the beloved wife of the late David Riley and longtime companion of the late Ronald Weldon. Dawn was a loving mother of Christopher (Kaelin) Weldon and Elizabeth (Robert Jacobs) Weldon; a devoted grandmother of Jacqueline and Taylor Weldon; Brendan, Adelyn and Alana Jacobs; a life-long friend and confidant to Leslie Jennings, a dear sister of George (Deborah) Christ; a cousin to Ralph (Connie) Runnfeldt, and fond aunt of several nieces and nephews.
Dawn had a life-long love of nature and incredible compassion for all of the wonderful creatures of this earth, both big and small. She loved music, dancing, and catching the Cubs radio broadcast most summer afternoons. Her soothing touch and genuine love for her family, furries, and friends, was limitless.
