To the Ward Family, I worked along Isiah as a USPIS Polygraph Examiner and am truly saddened to hear of his passing. Although we had not spoken since I retired many years ago, I can and will always say he was a true gentleman. Also, by far, he was the person on our team who habitually dressed in an elegant way. He treated everyone with respect. He portrayed what one would expect a US Postal Inspector to be. A true emissary of the USPIS during his career. My deepest sympathies.
MY WAY – Isiah Paul ‘The Prophet’ Ward’s Version (June 2009)
And now the end has come. So I must face the final curtain. To my family and friends I will make it clear, there are no more tears, so with ease, I state my case; of which I am certain, I have lived a good righteous, loving, peaceful life. I traveled each and every highway, to learn MY WAY. I did this and much more, by doing it MY WAY. Yes, I may have a few regrets; but none to fret. My gains were plenty, too many to name. I have no outstanding debts and made very few bets, so that my life would not be a mess. I did what I had to do to see my life through by doing my very best. I planned each chartered course, with each careful step along the way. I made several attempts to help others fine their way, to get through their day, so they would not go astray. I did it not for fame, fortune or personal gain; but , so my life would not be in vain. I bear no blame or shame because I enriched my name. I did it MY WAY. Yes there were times, I am sure you know, that I bit off more than I could chew, but I always saw it through. When there was doubt, I ate it up and spit it out. I faced it all and stood very tall, even when I had to climb the wall. I truly did it MY WAY. I have loved, I have laughed, and I have cried, but through it all, I lived a wonderful full complete life filled with peace, love, joy and much happiness. Yes, I have had my share of bosses and suffered a few losses, but as the tears subside, I find it all amusing to take it in stride, in a not so cautious why, I unquestionably did it MY WAY. Remember, I was just a man being myself, who was able to say, I paid my way living out each day. I did things I truly felt and did not roll over and melt. So, let the record, unequivocally show, I took the blows, wrote several books, played lots of musical tunes on many different instruments, sketched many drawings and created many paintings and much much more; however, I did it MY WAY.
