Patricia G. “Patti” Menconi nee Giglio, of Darien, IL, at rest May 21, 2022. Born March 10, 1956 in Chicago, IL. Beloved wife of Gary; loving mother of Benjamin (Katarina) and Joseph; cherished grandmother of Vuk; devoted daughter of Mary Ann (the late Anthony N.) Giglio; dearest sister of Anthony G. (Jill) Giglio; dear aunt of Ronin and Jorie Giglio and Jennifer Rechenmacher; great aunt of many; fond sister-in-law of Marilyn Kangas ( Ken Kleiner) and Karen (Dave Cappa) Menconi. Patti led a la bella figura life. Always dignified and gracious, she had an intense love for her family and friends. Patti was a graduate of Dominican University in River Forest and owned and operated Bella Stanza Custom Window Treatments. She enjoyed disco, Italian and Christian music, loved Italian television and had a special devotion teaching her grandson the Italian language. Family and friends are asked to meet Wednesday May 25, 2022 for a 12 P.M. Funeral Mass at St. Joan of Arc Church 820 Division St., Lisle. Immediately following the Funeral Mass will be a Celebration of Patti’s Life at the Naperville Country Club 25W570 Chicago Ave., Naperville. from 1:30-3:30. Interment will be held privately at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside. Arrangements entrusted to Cappetta’s West Suburban Funeral Home, Westmont. Gary and family, Patti was such a special lady! In the short time we knew her, how could you not love her! Her smile, faith and love for her family and friends was amazing! She will be greatly missed by all of her Naples Lakes friends!
Patti was a special lady to all that met her. I had the pleasure of wirking with her and Gary in Darien Illinois .
