Was saddened to hear the news . As one of many of Phil’s friends from Western Illinois, we will miss his humor and kindness . I hope you will find peace in time
All who knew him were blessed
Uncle Phil was one of a kind. He is missed beyond what I can put in words. Until we meet again… ❤️
Thank you, Britt. XO
Thank you, John. Phil loved you guys and would share stories all the time…over and over again! It’s such a comfort to know he was loved by so many and he’d count you all among his many blessings, too.
Phil,
Ours were chats which were too few but so rich in fun and enjoyment. Ours was an instant friendship, bonded by shared interests and mutual respect. I was so looking forward to our next chat that now, to my chagrin, will not happen. Instead, I will relive those times and those laughs we did share, those hopes for our nation and those dreams for our future we did so often discuss.
I thank you for your friendship. I shall not forget you. The Y will never be the same.
May you rest in eternal peace at the side of Our Lord Jesus, as you so justly deserve.
Debbie,
May Jesus grant you the strength to overcome your loss; may your indelible happy memories of and your enduring love for Phil lighten your grief; and may the support of all your many friends lessen your burden.
Thank you, George, for your beautiful and thoughtful words. It warms my heart and soul knowing there’s a real probability he can now hear just how much everyone loves him! I’ll always remain so proud of who he was and my love will burn eternal.
I am so sorry for your loss as Phil was taken way too soon. I will always remember him as a very happy, funny, and loving person. We shared so many good times watching Bears games, leaf-raking in Lake Geneva, your wedding and anniversary party just to name a few. Phil will be missed.
Thank you, Louise. Your kindness and thoughtful words are sincerely appreciated. I can’t imagine life without my great guy and pray for Jesus’ divine help, guidance and strength.
