Beloved husband of Mary Kay (nee Lynch); loving father of Louis (Katie) and Luke, (Kristin); devoted son of the late Louis and Anna Marie (nee Milella); dearest grandfather of Madison, Lexi, Shaun, Maggie, Remi, George and Lukie; dear brother of LuAnne and Mary Jo Buffo, Chrissy Mahoney and Lisa Mardegan; brother-in-law of Kevin Mahoney, John, Jeannie and T.J. Lynch and the late Lino Mardegan Jr.; fond uncle of Jessica (Tracy), Bridgette (Ryan), Katie, Ashley. Claudia, Johnny, Jeanne and Louis; great-uncle of Emma. George was a retired engineer with the Berwyn Fire Dept. He was vice-president emeritus Local 506. George enjoyed fishing and boating but most of all he loved being with his grandchildren. Funeral Tuesday July 9, 2024 at 9:15 A.M. at Thornridge Funeral Home 14318 LaGrange Rd., Orland Park to St. Elizabeth Seton Church 9300 W. 157th St, Orland Hills for a 10 A.M.
