William J. “Bill” Jany Jr, 81, of Plainfield, formerly of Clarendon Hills, at rest May 31, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Born December 24, 1940 in Chicago, IL to William Sr. and Florence Jany. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Ann  (nee Harberlin); loving father of Scott (Cherrish), Danton (Elizabeth), Dawn (the late Thomas) Sullivan and Robyn (Jason Kugach) Jany; devoted grandfather of Connor, Colleen, Christopher, Chloe, Jacob, Sophia and Spencer; dear brother of the late Robert Jany CPD; fond uncle of nieces and nephews. Bill lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed playing golf, jazz and classical music. Bill especially loved dinners with his wife. Interment private.
