William A. Schoen, age 93, of Bolingbrook, IL, at rest July 23, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army. Mr. Schoen was a Staff Sergeant Headquarters & Service Company 1269th Engineers Combat Battalion. Beloved husband of the late Jean nee Casto; loving father of David (Lydia) Schoen, Margaret Walkosz and Chris (Bill) Daniels; devoted grandfather of Tina Bartlett, Carey Cleverly, Joseph (Vansa), Annie (Caren), Andrew (Gail) and James Walkosz; dearest great grandfather of Steven, Brendan, Alexander and Alttera; dear brother of Arnie Schoen.
