Vincent A. “Vince” Accardo, 76, of Mt. Prospect, formerly of Taylor St., at rest April 22, 2020. Proud U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam era. Born October 28, 1943 in Chicago, IL to Martin and Rose (nee Urso) Accardo, Beloved husband of Linda (nee Konieczko); loving father of Vincent (fiancee Isabella and daughter Valentina) and Alissa; dearest brother of Jack (the late Caroline) and the late Anthony (the late Rosalie); devoted uncle of Rosemary and Steve Accardo; dear great uncle of Andrew and Angelina Gomez; and his “fury” friends Wiley, Sophie and Stella. Vince was a retired mailer for the Chicago Sun-Times. He enjoyed investing in horse races, coin collecting, the Chicago White Sox, New Orleans and Florida.
