Vicky Maus was born January 17, 1965.  She was the youngest of 3 children of Lucille and Donald Maus.  Vicky passed away on November 8, 2025.

Vicky was raised in South Holland, IL and earned a Bachelor’s degree as well as an MBA, both from Ntl Louis University.  She worked from 1988 to 2020 when she retired after a long and accomplished professional career with United Parcel Service.

Vicky enjoyed playing poker and all kinds of games.  Twice, she achieved her goal of playing in the WSOP main event in Las Vegas.  Vicky loved music, was quite funny and quick witted.  More recently she took pride in teaching the ladies in her community how to play poker.  The “dementia poker group” gave her many laughs.

She is survived by her brother Gary Maus and wife Sheilah, sister Shirley Maus, plus niece and nephews Brian, Megan and Jeff and longtime friend Marybeth Gilbert.  The Gilbert family embraced Vicky into their family and she loved them very much.

A memorial celebrating Vicky’s life will be held at a future date with a private family service.
