Tom “TRC” Campbell, 67, longtime resident of Downers Grove, earned his wings on June 5, 2025.Born September 8, 1957 in Terre Haute, IN to Don and Mary Jane (Howe) Campbell. Beloved husband of Sheila (Robbins); loving brother of Bill (Vicki) Campbell of Westmont IL, brother of Jim (An) Campbell of Romeoville, IL, sisters of Jane Stump and Carrie Urich, both of Gulf Shores, AL. Dear uncle of Neil and Caitlin Campbell and Ava Urich.
He graduated Naperville North in 1976 and went on to graduate from Wyoming Tech Institute for auto body painting. Tom owned his own business “Tom the Painter” for over 20 years. Tom enjoyed camping & fishing, Saturday night Svengoolie on MeTV and was a member of Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus. Also, a member of DuKane Abate, he especially enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidison Street Glide, his pride and joy. However, his greatest achievement was passing away as a sober alcoholic; 38 years clean & sober, thanks to The 12-Step program

Memorial Visitation Saturday June 14, 2025 from 10 A.M. to noon at Cappetta’s West Suburban Funeral Home & Cremation Services 39 N. Cass Ave., Westmont.
