Russell “Russ” Kosey, 76, of Bloomingdale, IL, at rest April 4, 2023. Born August 20, 1946 in Northville, Michigan to Joseph and Blanche nee Husek,  Beloved husband of 53 years to Elaine (nee Veverka); loving father of Tammy (Scott) Podjasek and Tanya Kosey: devoted grandfather of Madison, Connor, Alex and the late Nathan; dearest brother of Joseph (JoAnne) Kosey; dear uncle of Mike, Tina, Barb and Dave. Russ loved traveling with Elaine in their motor home, as they visited all fifty states. He was an avid scuba diver and had a fondness for the ocean. Above all, Russ enjoyed his family, friends, food and conversation. He never missed a party! Visitation Monday April 10, 2023 from 9:30-11 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church 4801 Main St, Downers Grove followed by an 11 A.M. Funeral Mass. Interment private.
