Roger L. Knudsen, 85, longtime resident of Downers Grove, at rest October 19, 2025. Born March 24, 1940 in Chicago, IL to Emmanuel and Ann (nee Unti). Beloved husband of Elaine (nee Bohmann); loving father of Dawn Kannon, Denise and Derrick Knudsen; dearest stepfather of Michael (Toni) Hange and Laura Hange; grandfather of 7; great-grandfather of 1; fond sister of the Karen (the late Charles) Evans; fond uncle of nieces and nephews. Roger was an avid Cubs fan, was a history buff  and enjoyed playing bridge. Memorial Services at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Downers Grove, will be announced at a later date.
