Ria Basit, 45, (nee Adoptante) of Westmont, at rest July 15, 2024. Born April 26, 1979 in the Philippines to Teodulo and Rosita Iratay.  Beloved wife of Leodel; loving mother of Riley and Raven Basit; dearestv sister of Emily Adoptante and Ezzeth De Lunas; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Ria loved to spend time with family and friends by going shopping, watching movies, and going on trips to explore new places. She dedicated 14 years at Suburban Primary Care in Hinsdale as the manager of the practice. Ria was always the light of everyone’s lives telling many jokes and making people laugh. She loved cartoon characters such as Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, and Tinkerbell as she was a collector of character memorabilia and stuffed animals. Ria was deeply loved by many and her uplifting personality will live on forever. May she rest in peace without anymore pain and suffering. Visitation Friday July 19, 2024 from 3-8 P.M. at Cappetta’s West Suburban Funeral Home 39 N. Cass Ave., Westmont with Funeral Services at 7 P.M. Interment private.
