Nettie L. Darby (nee Gilkey), 85, of Westmont, IL at rest July 28, 2022. Born July 12, 1937 in Fort Atkinson, WI to Harold and Blossom Gilkey. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Roderick Darby; loving mother of Todd (Tammy) and the late Jeff; devoted grandmother of Adam, Austin, Ali and Aaron; dearest sister of Harriet (the late Dick) Brandwein and the late Dwaine (Mary) Gilkey; dear aunt of several nieces and nephews. Nettie enjoyed painting and opera music. She volunteered at the Chicago Symphony and was a past member of the Oak Brook Women’s Club and Gourmet Group.
