Maria Borowicz, 92, of Woodridge, at rest July 11, 2025. Born May 4, 1933 in Poland to Franciszek and Katarzyna Zieba. Beloved wife of the late Jozef Borowicz and the late Jozef Rokicki; loving mother of Katherine (Joseph) Lichosyt, Anna (Michael) Gniady, Irena (Edward) Jarecki, Stanislaw Borowicz and the late Joseph (Jadwiga) Borowicz; devoted grandmother of Margaret, Michael, Christine, Anthony, Jacob, Stanley, Thomas, Daniel, Jacqueline, Joseph and Malgorzata; dearest great grandmother of Lucy, Rosalie, Sophia, Abigail, Annabelle, Daria, Dawid, John, Julia, Patrick, and Maximilian; dear sister of Sr. Sylwestra, Frank, John and Jozef Zieba; fond aunt of many. Maria loved preparing Polish meals and baking her Polish treats. She was the heart of the family will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
