Maddalena Manna
In loving memory, we celebrate the life of Maddalena Manna (nee Cerbone), who peacefully passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 88. She was a devoted Nonna to Giovanna, Maddalena, Daniele, Giulia, Angelina, Alessandra, Ariana, Elena, Paul, Frankie, and Richie. Maddalena was also a dear great-grandmother to Link, Ireland, Jude, Natalia, Everly, Liam, and Zuko. She shared a special bond with her siblings Antonio, Marisa, Giovanna, Giulia, and Flora Cerbone, and held fond memories of her late brothers Vincenzo and Giuseppe Cerbone. Mom, the pain of your absence is overwhelming. The weight of grief leaves me in moments of quiet despair, and tears flow freely. A profound emptiness your departure has left behind. In the midst of the days chaos, I find myself unable to focus, as my thoughts return to the void created by your loss. These past couple of days so far feels like a relentless struggle, and the simplest tasks are clouded by the shadows of grief. Your absence is a constant ache, and the world seems colorless without you in it. I navigate with a heavy heart, yearning for the warmth of your embrace and the reassurance of your voice, wanting to hear again you saying “there she is”, or “I love you so much”! Though the pain is deep, the love you left behind will be my guiding light through this sea of sadness! I love you so much mommy, I don’t know what I’ll do without seeing you everyday! I know you’ll be my guardian angel. Until we meet again, I will never forget you.💔 love Lia
Nonna, I’m forever grateful for the memories we were able to share. Your presence was always felt. You impacted the lives of everyone you met including my own in the best way possible. The world without you as of late seems to have this unsettling gloom. You truly brought light into this world on days where it seemed to be dark. I look back at old photos and reminisce of our times together. In all honesty I have no regrets. We spent so much quality time together, and created so many memories that I will always cherish. You ensured that I always felt loved and cared for. I love you so much, Nonna. Words cannot express how fortunate I am to call you my Nonna.
Sincerely, your grandson, Paulie
Nonna, you are one of the most amazing women that I have ever met. Your smile, your laugh, your generosity, and your positive attitude were intoxicating and contagious. The love you had for your family was a true asset to them all. I feel blessed to have been part of your life and proud to have been your son in law. I know you will watch over your family each and every day. You were a true matriarch and an example for all mothers and grandmothers to follow. Rest easy now Nonna you are at peace in the kingdom of heaven and earned your wings. I will love and miss you now and forever in my days.
