Lilia Estela Stachowski (nee King), 91, of Jonestown, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Lilia was born on May 25, 1934 in San Diego,Texas to Guillerma de la Fuente and Alanso de la Fuente King.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Stachowski, her parents and brothers and sisters; Alfonso King, Ramon (Lidia) King, Abelina Sepulveda, Reymundo King, Adolpho Gonzales, Margarita Fuentes, Esperanza Davila, Hilda Alicia (Alice) Enriquez, Viviana Hernandez, Alonzo King, Ricardo King, and Ronnie Flores (cousin).
Loving mother of Charles (Linda) Stachowski, Hope Stachowski, Joseph M. Stachowski, Michelle Hutchinson; She is survived by her loving sister Amelia Pawlik; cherished grandmother of Andrew, Aaron, Anthony, Chloe, Tyler, Jordan, Jacob, and Kyle; great grandmother of Elaina, Emma, Sadie, Lydia, Thea and Caleb; aunt and great aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
She loved traveling, especially overseas, and visiting with her family and friends. The highlight of her traveling life was going to Rome and the Vatican to attend the Pope’s Wednesday Mass. She enjoyed watching Hogan Heroes, MASH and old westerns on TV, especially, those old movies with John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. She would enjoy walking with her grandchildren and going toFlea Markets and the movies. She also loved cooking.
She will be greatly missed; our thoughts and prayers are with her. Lilia was a retired employee of Intermatic Incorporated formerly of Spring
Grove, IL.
