LeAnn James Banaszek, 67, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026. Born on January 14, 1959, in Peoria, Illinois, to the late Judith and Paul James. Leann was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Andrew Banaszek, and her son, Bradley James Banaszek. Leann is survived by her daughter, Leslie Ann Harrison; her beloved grandchildren, Lena Elizabeth, Matthew Joseph, and Lillian Grace; her sister, Lisa and Bob (Kirsch) and niece, Emily and Ryan (Johnson).

LeAnn lived a life centered on love, family, and quiet strength. On February 17, 1979, she married her beloved husband, Charlie Andrew Banaszek, and together they built a life filled with devotion, resilience, and deep love for their family.

LeAnn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She raised her family in Bellwood, Illinois, where she created a warm and caring home and devoted herself fully to those she loved. Later in life, she and Charlie began a new chapter together, becoming semi-retired and starting a business in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Nothing meant more to LeAnn than her family. She was a steady source of comfort, love, and support, and she took great pride in the life she built with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her kindness, strength, and caring nature will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service celebrating LeAnn’s life will be held in the spring in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. LeAnn will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
