Kyong Doo Han of Downers Grove, a loving and devoted father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2024, at the age of 76.

He is survived by his wife Yeon Sook, their two daughters Lydia (David) Paris-Han and Christina (Joshua) Francy, and their three treasured granddaughters, Cora (Francy), Lucy (Francy) & Madeleine (Paris-Han).

Kyong found joy in simple things: taking his granddaughters to the nearby park to watch them play, spoiling the family dogs, sharing a meal with the family, and the laughter of his grandchildren. He holds a special place in their hearts, and they are lucky to have created such cherished memories.

Though his absence leaves a void, the shared memories live on in the values he instilled in us and will continue to guide and connect us as a family. His valuable lessons about the importance of hard work, integrity, and appreciation of good food will be carried on. We hope he is reconnected with all the dogs he loved so much.

We will miss you dearly, Dad/Grandpa. Rest peacefully and painlessly.
