Born August 26, 1953 in Chicago, IL.  Devoted husband of Claudia (nee Jelen); loving father of Christina (Michael) Procaccio II; happiest papa of Maxwell and Lucy; dear brother of Marcia Stephen; fond uncle of Jennifer Standish Pench, Mia Carter and Michael Stephen. Preceded in death by his parents Albert and Lorraine Kerbel, sister Joyce and brother-in-law John Standish and in-laws Leon and Amelia Jelen.  Karl had a dental practice in Oak Brook for many years.  Memorial Visitation Saturday April 2, 2022 at 10:30 A.M followed by an 11:30 A.M.
