On behalf of the Blaber family I would like to offer our condolences to Micheals family. We grew up together at St. Edmunds and in the streets and alleys of Oak Park. I was closer in age to Mark. We played together in your backyard and on the widgets and the varsity football and basketball team. Mark was the last person who beat me up even though he was a year younger but it was no shame to lose a fight to a good man like Mark. We remained friends for years until our lives diverged. My memories of Micheal is of a person you were always happy to see walk in a room and that is a rare quality. He was always fun and funny. Mike was at my Moms wake earlier this year and even though our conversation was too brief the years melted away when we reminisced about our young
and carefree days on Wesley Av. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Fenwick High School will be keeping Michael in our prayers.

To Mark Wolfie, I just read the Chicago Tribune story on the great accomplishments of your brother Michael. I remember him as a college student with great ambitions to be a lawyer. He certainly followed through on things and made the family proud. So sorry. — Pizza – Peters
Mr. Wolfe,
We think of you so very often and greatly miss your presence.
I want to let you know Mike was in the big brother big sister program in DuPage county. He was my son’s big brother for many years. We were so saddened to find out Mike passed and Joe Tierney did not know. RIP Mike.
