Helen Marie Nichols (nee Beusse) of Westmont peacefully passed away on Sunday March 10th with her loving family by her side. Helen was the dearest sister to Patricia (Eugene) Andyrshak, Joanne (Steve) Andrews, Esther (the late Chris) Simpson, Donald (Jan) Beusse the late Matthew Beusse and the late James (the late Andria) Beusse. Beloved mother of Kelly, James (Jennifer) and Eric (Jessi). Devoted Grandmother to Samantha, Jacob, Jessica, Henry, Hope and Loving Great Grandmother to Romello. Fond Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Helen enjoyed nothing more than a good poker game, listening to the Beatles and watching her Chicago Cubs. But of course, Helen loved nothing more than spending the holidays with her family and friends, especially on St. Patrick’s Day. Helen would dress up as a leprechaun, on St. Patrick’s Day, delivering green cookies and teaching her grandchildren how to catch those “Pesky Leprechauns”!
Visitation Services are on Monday, March 18th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Cappetta’s West Suburban Funeral Home, 4902 Main St. Downers Grove, IL 60517. Chapel Services will begin at 4:00pm at the funeral home. Funeral Services will start at 8:30am at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 19th followed by a 9:30am Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 111 S. Cass Ave. Westmont, IL 60559. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery 1400 S Wolf Rd. Hillside, IL 60162.
