Beloved wife of 60 years to Melvin Greathouse Sr (1927-2011); loving mother of Melvin Jr. of Wheaton and Carol Greathouse Steiner of Romeoville; devoted grandmother of Simon Steiner (Prescila) and Jenna Steiner Archuleta (Adam). Great Grandmother to Amy Logan, Monica Gloria, Luke Jacob Archuleta and Maeve Lynn and John Leroy Steiner. Preceded in death by her baby daughter Barbara Jo; parents Bertha Mae Davis Ferguson and Clyde Beberly Smith; sister Berlene Sweatt, brothers; Richard Wade, Cecil Makin, Michael O, Pattic A, Aaron Dale Jimmy R, Berry (Peanut) Ferguson. Gloria was completely devoted to her family. A woman of faith, knowing the Bible by heart, she had unending energy for her family and loved her babies. Along with her husband, their hard work provided her family with comforts and security that she had not known during her own youth.
