Gary Courtney, 77, of Chicago, IL at rest May 31, 2024. Born March 6, 1947 in Monticello, AK. Gary proudly served his country during the Vietnam era in the United States Navy. He entered the Navy on August 23, 1965 and was discharged on November 29, 1966. He earned the Vietnam Service Medal, National defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.  Interment was held privately on June 12, 2024 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
