Ellen M. De Long (nee Shannon), 82, of Berwyn, at rest December 22, 2023. Born November 15, 1941 in Chicago, IL to Patrick and Eleanor Shannon; beloved wife of the late Joseph; loving mother of Thomas (Sandra) De Long and Dawn (Robert) Johnson; devoted grandmother of Daniel De Long; dearest sister of Maryann (the late Peter) DiCianni Jr., Lorraine (Joseph) De Mondo, Bernadette Shannon, Patricia (the late Robert) Krasniewski and John (Diane) Shannon; dear godmother of Peter DiCianni III, Robert Krasniewski and Theresa Sebastian; fond sister-in-law of Joanne (the late Richard) De Long; aunt of many nieces and nephews. Ellen loved dancing with her husband Joe, especially the twist. They were so skilled they won a trip to Las Vegas! She also was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and was fortunate enough to see him in concert. Ellen also enjoyed Irish music and watching cooking shows.
