Edda Hurlburt, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 21, 2025, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Edda was born on December 7, 1945, in Caracas, Venezuela. She is survived by her husband, Le Roy Hurlburt Jr., and her three daughters, Yelena, Yelitza, Yemilei (Michael), and stepdaughter Denise. She was a proud grandmother to Sofia (David), Cesar, Justin, and Dylan.

Edda had a passion for cooking and dancing and brought joy and warmth to everyone around her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

In accordance with her wishes, no funeral services will be held. Her family will privately celebrate her life and cherish the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
