Donna M. Krause (nee Schooley), 96, of Downers Grove, at rest September 12, 2024. Born March 20, 1928 in Gibson City, IL to Lloyd and Violet Schooley. Beloved wife of the late Robert G. Krause; loving mother of Robert J. (Carol), Sharon, Karen Barton and James (Kathleen); devoted grandmother of Keara, Kevin, Daniel and Adam Krause, Jeff Tamulus, Scott and Brian Barton; dearest great grandmother of Ashley, Margaret, Olesia, Johnathan, Allison, Ethan and Esme; dear sister of Lloyd Jr. (Darlene) Schooley; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Donna was fierce, loving and generous. She loved her family, her animals and her antiques. One of her favorite things  was being a beautician and running her three beauty salons. Donna was independent, enjoyed traveling and loved spending time in the homes she designed and decorated.
