Cynthia “Cindi” J. Dixon, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on May 16, 2023, at the age of 66. Born January 30, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, Cindi, known for her warm heart and infectious laughter, touched the lives of many. Cindi is survived by her husband of 45 years, Karl, her loving children, Eric and Kelly, and daughter-in-law Maria. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark and parents, James and Sheila James.
Cindi loved her family immensely. She dedicated herself to her role as the office manager at her daughter’s medical practice, supporting their shared professional aspirations. Cindi took pride in her son’s culinary talents and never missed an opportunity to express her admiration. Cindi supported Karl’s professional journey through seven relocations, demonstrating her unwavering dedication to nurturing their shared goals and supporting their respective paths
Cindi’s personality allowed her to form deep connections with people wherever she went. Whether engaging with fellow dog enthusiasts at shows, colleagues at work, or fellow parents, Cindi had a natural ability to make others feel seen and appreciated.
Cindi loved all animals both wild and domestic. She found immense joy in training and showing dogs. Her pets were an integral part of her life, including dogs, cats, fish and birds. Traveling the world was another of Cindi’s passions. Her journeys took her to Germany, Israel, Egypt, Greece, Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean, and numerous states within the United States. Cindi’s eagerness to immerse herself in new experiences enriched her life and broadened her perspective.
As we say goodbye to Cindi Dixon, we remember her as someone who radiated love, kindness, and laughter. May her spirit find eternal peace, while we honor her memory by embracing the compassion she shared with the world. Cindi’s caring soul and generous nature left an indelible mark on the lives she touched.
