Cynthia “Cindy” Vidito Malek, 47, of Westmont, at rest April 21, 2023. Beloved wife of 22 years of  James “Jim” Malek; loving daughter of Mary Cordero and Phillip “Butch” (Donna) Vidito; dearest sister of Jamie (Melissa) Vidito, Phillip (Erin) Vidito, Benjamin (Samantha) Vidito and Anthony Cordero; step-sister of Bryan (Alana) and Bradley (Robyn) Polanek; devoted granddaughter of Alice Vidito Frost; dear aunt, niece, cousin and friend of many. Cindy worked for Jewel for 26 years. The first 8 were at the Jewel located at Saratoga and Ogden in Downers Grove, the last 18 at 75th St. & Janes Ave. in Woodridge. Cindy was an avid Uno player. She loved word search puzzles and card games and watching her favorite television show, Cops. Cindy attended countless concerts with her mom and also was proud to attend her husband’s Eagle Scout award ceremony. Memorial Visitation Saturday May 6, 2023 from 12-4 P.M. with Memorial Services to follow at 4 P.M. at Cappetta’s West Suburban Funeral Home & Cremation Services 4920 Main St., Downers Grove.
