Chris grew up in Lisle, IL, and loved being involved in all things sports.  He was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. His family lived in downtown Lisle and Chris loved visiting the shop owners. He enjoyed talking about everything Lisle, sports, and food. Everyone knew Chris. He was the epitome of Lisle and all that is good in it.

For nearly 30 years, Chris worked for Aramark, a corporate cafeteria company that serviced Bell Labs/Lucent and BP. He worked at Jewel in Naperville, IL, for nine years before retiring. During high school, he was manager of the football and wrestling teams. Chris also worked the scoreboard for Lisle sporting events continuously from1980 until 2022. He was a devoted member of St. Joan of Arc Parish and a proud founding member of the Knights of Columbus, SJA Council #1516.

Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen and father, Casper. He is survived by his sisters, Mary LaRose of Naperville, and Helen LaRose Thomas (Bill) of Houston, TX; his niece, Ann Marie; and nephew, Andrew. Chris also leaves behind many dear high school friends who helped him navigate living on his own.

Chris spent his final years at Independence Village in Naperville, where he was surrounded by exceptional care and genuine compassion. He truly loved living there and often shared that he felt at peace—unafraid and comforted—in the place he chose to call home.
