Bruce Becker, age 80, resident of Heritage Woods of Bolingbrook passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026. He previously lived in Joliet, Evanston, Chicago and Hinsdale.

Bruce was born on October 10, 1945 in Oak Park to John and Marion (nee Triggs) Becker.

Beloved brother to John Lee (Margaret) Becker, Dale (the late Maryellen) Becker and Marie Becker (Charles) Lindsey; proud uncle to Laura (James Judge) Becker, Alayn Becker, Gary Lindsey, Karen (Michael) Byron, and Michael (Danielle) Becker; and fond great uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Bruce attended St. Isaac Jogues, Hinsdale Central High School, and Western Illinois University. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1966-1968 as a medic stationed in Korea.

Bruce was a lifelong learner and a keen observer of people and the world. Those who knew him understood his depth, intelligence and authenticity. He will be greatly missed.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday March 21, 2026 from 2pm to 4pm, with a memorial service at 2:45 pm at Cappetta’s West Suburban Funeral Home & Cremation Services at 39 N.
