Helen Virginia Shue journeyed outward on September 26^th, 2022, at 4:00 A.M. after a years-long war with cancer. Preceded in death by her son, Kevin, she is survived by those who loved her and freed of those who did not. She took with her a love of the connections forged through art and friendship; a fierce loyalty to those she deemed worthy of it; and her defining inner fire, burning ever bright. She left behind what she didn’t need. So will we all. She wasn’t afraid, but she wasn’t ready to leave, either. Goodbye, Helen. You are missed. You led a life of meaning. Interment private.
