Patricia M. “Patty” Murphy (nee Wallinger), 74, longtime resident of Downers Grove, at rest August 13, 2022. Born April 23, 1948 to Ted and Marie Wallinger. Beloved wife of Charlie; loving mother of Allison Poole, Heather (James) Robinson, Jonathan Murphy, Abigail Murphy, David Murphy, Ruth (Rich) Payne, Benjamin Murphy, Micah Murphy and Hannah (Tanner) Herman; devoted grandmother of  Gabriel and Corey Poole, Mia and Daphne Robinson, Ethan, Emanuel and Elizabeth Murphy, Nathaniel, Zoe, Naomi and Zachary Payne, Benjamin, Tyler, Jackson, Marley, Aria and Milla Murphy, Charles and Kamuela Herman. Pat was the best cashier at the Saratoga Jewel in Downers Grove IL. She was on the Board of Directors and also a member of Evangelical Child & Family Agency in Wheaton, IL.  Pat was formerly an executive assistant at Electro-Motive Division in LaGrange, IL and a secretary at Argonne National Laboratory in Lemont, Il. Memorial Visitation at West Hills Community Church 213 E. 55th St., Westmont, IL on Friday August 19, 2022 from 10 A.M. till 12 P.M.
