Joseph Michael Passarella Sr., age 76, resident of Lisle for the past 43 years, at rest June 18, 2022. Proud United States Air Force veteran, Joe served his country during the Vietnam era. Born July 21, 1945 in Chicago, IL to Joseph A. and Mary Passarella. Beloved husband of Lynne nee Chiavola; loving father of Jacquelyn and Joseph Passarella; dearest brother of Patricia (Robert) DeStefano; dear uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews. Joe was an accomplished drummer at a very young age, playing in various bands before being drafted into the Air Force. With his baseball skills, he immediately secured a position on the very successful Air Force baseball team. Joe was an avid sports fan his entire life , especially of the Blackhawks and White Sox. Memorial Visitation Saturday June 25, 2020 10:30 A.M. at St. Joan of Arc Church, Lisle followed by an 11:30 A.M. Memorial Mass.
