John J. Hazard, 84, passed July 7, 2021. Beloved husband of Colette (nee Kring). Loving father of Martin Hazard, Brian (Jenny) Hazard, and Sheila (Steve) Swanson. Proud grandfather of Skylar Forssander, Michael Krapf, and Corey Hazard. Fond brother of Stephen (Mary Jo) Hazard, Michael (Brenda) Hazard, Nancy Ohalla (Ralph), James (Stephanie) Hazard, Mary (James) Murphy, and the late Paul (Jule) Hazard and Judy Fox. Fond uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Anne (nee Finnegan) Hazard. John was formerly a Pastoral Associate at St. Joseph Church in Downers Grove and Executive Speechwriter at Ameritech.  Wake on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Adolf Funeral Home, 7000 S. Madison, Willowbrook.
