John (Jack) Pereira passed away on March 30, 2021. Proceeded in death by parents Jack and Kay Pereira. Brother of Kathy (Dave) Zaba, uncle to Katie, Angie, as well as being a cousin and a nephew to many. Lover of burgers, fries, sausage pizza, pop, and his family. A kind and quiet soul, with a playful smirk. Always started a greeting with a handshake and ended goodbyes with cheerful symbol of peace. Looked great in any color sport coat. Forever missed.

In memory of Jack, family would like everyone to fight institutional stigma as well as to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves to make the world a better place.

Jack’s life will be celebrated with a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 7 at 9:30 A.M. at Holy Trinity in Westmont, IL. Visitation Wednesday from 8:30-9:00 A.M. at Cappetta’s West Suburban Funeral Home 39 N. Cass Ave., Westmont. Jack will be laid to rest at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
