Bernice “Blanche” Para (nee Gulik), 94, of Woodridge IL, formerly of Cicero IL, at rest January 27, 2021. Born June 16, 1926 to Frank and Agnes Gulik. Beloved wife of the late Bruno J.; loving mother of Deborah (Larry) Butterfield, Gerard (the late Gayle) and Bruno (Mary) Para; devoted grandmother of  Tracy (Juan) Alvarez, Michael (Kori) Stack, Laura Stack, and  Eric, Teresa, Julia and Lauren Para; dearest great grandmother of Kate, Keelan, Emma, Pilar, Lucas and Siena; cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her parents and siblings. Busia was known for her love of her family and friends and her strong faith in God was central to her life. Her bountiful cooking skills were enjoyed by many. Busia took pride in passing down many Polish customs and traditions and led the entire family in the first Oplatki Christmas Wafer blessing done via Zoom! Visitation Monday February 15, 2021 from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at Cappetta’s West Suburban Funeral Home & Cremation Service. 39 N. Cass Ave, Westmont, followed by an 11 A.M.  Funeral Mass at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church 820 Division, Lisle IL. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
