I worked with George for 20 years with the La Grange fire department. As an officer, George could be best described as “firm but fair” . I learned a lot from him and he always admitted his shortcomings. He was always willing to help others achieve their goals.
He was a credit to the department and to the fire service.
George
Over the years we had great times, at the firehouse, fishing trips and working together on our days off. I learned from you as you from me. I will always cherish our friendship and you will always be in my memories. Thank you for our friendship and being part of my family. We will miss you.
