Robert George Beck Sr., 83, longtime resident of Woodridge, at rest November 28 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born in Chicago, IL on September 5, 1941 to William and Helen Beck. Beloved husband of 61 years to Theresa (nee LaRocco); loving father of James, Robert Jr. and Gianna Beck; dearest brother of Rosemarie (A.J.) Whitt and the late William (Carol) Beck; dear brother-in-law of Jennifer LaRocco; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Bob owned and operated TLR Trucking, (named after his wife) for over 40 years. He was very involved in Woodridge Baseball, both as a manager and on the Board of Directors. He loved gardening, bowling and was a devoted White Sox fan. Above all, Bob was a friend to many, always willing to lend a helping hand. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Scholastica in Woodridge, at a later date.
