Leslie Ann Johnson (Fridrich), born in Chicago on July 18th, 1938. Was raised in Clarendon Hills, Illinois. Attended Maercker Grade School in an old wooden school house. Graduated from Hinsdale Township High School. 

Leslie passed away peacefully on October 9th, 2024 at the age of 86. Leslie was a longtime resident of Westmont, Illinois. Leslie was known for her love of horses and cats, her generosity, artistry, love of animals, pets, birds, traveling the world, and especially going to Indiana Dunes. Leslie lived a full and meaningful life and was cherished by all those who knew her. She attended Grace Lutheran Church until she wasn’t able. 

Leslie is preceded in death by Father Joseph Charles Fridrich, Mother Anne Fridrich (Kubicek), and beloved husband Marvin Johnson. Leslie is survived by her sister, Dr. Valerie Wright (Fridrich), niece; Amy Gresham (Jimmy), great-niece Ellie Gresham; nephew Jim Bretthauer (Christine), great-niece Eden Bretthauer, great-nephew Hogan Bretthauer. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Visitation services will be held on Friday, October 11th, 2024 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Cappetta’s West Suburban Funeral Home, 39 N. Cass Ave. Westmont, IL 60559. Chapel Services will commence at 12:00pm.  Internment will follow at Clarendon Hill Cemetery, next to her husband Marvin.
