Gerald “Jerry” Haney, 66 years old, of Batavia passed away on Saturday, October 5th, 2024. Jerry was the loving and cherished husband to the late Karen (nee Beglin). Loving father to Melissa (Adam) Haney and Rachael Haney. Beloved grandfather to John Rinehart. Loving brother of Jack Haney and Mary Pat (Pat) Ward. Devoted son to the late John and Mary T Haney. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. He leaves behind many beloved grand fur babies. He was an avid sox fan and loved to golf. Jerry worked for the Chicago Belt Railroad and loved his career. He was also a lover of rock and roll and spending time outdoors, especially at Koontz lake with the Ward clan. He leaves behind many beloved friends. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17th, 2024 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Cappetta’s West Suburban Funeral Home, 4920 Main Street, Downers Grove, IL 60515.
