Marie T. Jameson, of Downers Grove, formerly of Oak Park and Chicago, passed peacefully, Saturday July 13, 2024, at the age of 94. Marie was born October 14, 1929 in Chicago to Gerard and Susan Brindise. Her brothers Ralph, George and Phyllis Cozzola, preceded her in death. Marie married Vince Jameson in May of 1951. Vince preceded her in death July 25, 2013. Marie is survived by her five children; Matt (Mary Jane), Kathy (Tom) Scopelliti, Karen, Mark and Brian Jameson, her grandchildren Michael, Megan and Katie, and was an aunt to many nieces and nephews. Marie was very devoted to her Catholic faith, regularly attending daily Mass at Divine Savior Church in Downers Grove. She was a great cook and enjoyed sewing. A Memorial Mass celebrating Marie’s life will be held at Divine Savior Church 6700 S. Main St, Downers Grove on Friday July 19, 2024 at 10:15 A.M. Interment private.
