Sandra Rausch (nee Uhlir), 77, of Woodridge, at rest July 8, 2024. Born January 12, 1947 in Chicago, IL to Arthur and Mildred Uhlir. Beloved wife of the late William; loving mother of William Jr. (Melissa) and Pamela (Scott) Prescott; devoted grandmother of Danielle, William, Katie, Anthony, Ryan and Julie; dearest sister of Bruce (Pam) Uhlir; fond aunt of nieces and nephews. Sandra loved shopping at Jewel in Woodridge, where her daughter, Pam, worked in the pharmacy. She especially enjoyed working at Papa’s Pizza Place in Woodridge, in years past. Sandy and I met while residents at Thrive rehab in Lisle. We bonded over a period of two months, shared our love of Czech food and planned to share dinner at a Czech restaurant she recommended. She was so loving and generous of spirit…I love her, will miss her and 🙏🏻 for her. Dear Sandy, RIP.
I just loved Sandy! I knew her from Jewel and Papa’s. She was a great lady! I had the pleasure of meeting her daughter Pam, and 2 of her grandsons. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful person! She had a heart of gold. She will surely be missed!
